While peanut butter layer is chilling, melt chocolate chips, in a microwave oven or in a double boiler on top of the stove.
Spread chocolate over peanut butter.
Cut bars into squares, but leave them in the pan. Return to refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour. Store leftovers in the fridge, tightly covered.

can i melt the chocolate chips as a ganache or will it turn out different?
ReplyDeleteThese are INCREDIBLE! Taste even better than the real thing. My 14-yr old son and his friend came into the kitchen when I was cutting them. One taste and their eyes rolled backwards! They asked to take the whole pan to my son's room. No way...I might never have had anothe piece myself. Thanks for the great recipe. As long as I can ignore the fattening indredients I'll be making this over and over and over...
